During the annual rice-harvesting season, the Linden Centre jointly organizes a rice harvesting festival with the local Xizhou town tourism development company. The Centre invites local community members, traditional craftsmen, farmers, students, guests, and tourists to participate. The festival is held in rice paddy fields and features local folk rituals, a series of interactive activities such as folk dance performances, musical performances, and rice harvesting competitions using the traditional harvesting method. The purpose of the festival is to show people the traditional local culture, enhance the cultural identity of the community, and to promote the active preservation of folk culture.
