New at the Linden Centre: Free Baby-sitting daily.
The Linden Centre staff offers a complimentary childcare service for children ages 3 to 12 every evening from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. The baby-sitting can include calligraphy, Chinese lessons, games, puzzles, and other fun activities. Parents are invited to take this time to relax, enjoy wine-tasting on the terrace, and partake in any other activities that the Linden Centre is offering for that evening.

  • Dumpling Cooking Class
    • From making the dough to the filling, we will learn the Chinese art of dumpling making and then feast our creation

    • Take a boat ride out on Er’hai Lake to watch trained cormorants dive into the water to catch fish, then travel by horse cart along Er’hai lake while visiting local temples in lakeside villages

  • Shuanglang and Wase Market Visit
    • Take a picturesque ride around the lake to the market in Wase, a small fishing town about an hour’s drive from Xizhou. On the way back eat lunch at a lakeside restaurant and visit a stunning Benzhu temple

    • This 20 kilometer trip will take you along a newly built greenway that stretches along the west coast of Er’hai lake to Dali Old Town
