Interns, the Linden Centre holds the Xizhou Baba Festival in Sifang Jie, the town square of Xizhou. This event is aimed at promoting and sharing one of the traditional delicacies of Xizhou, the Xizhou baba, a form of intangible cultural heritage. In Sifang Jie, there is a baba making station, and a chef to guide the baba making process. The event is open to the public, and everyone can go to the station to personally make and taste his or her own baba. This event gives local residents the opportunity to share the complete production process of Bai traditional cuisine with the world. New Xizhou residents and tourists alike can also experience the local cultural cuisine on a deeper level and integrate themselves more into the local community.
