Halloween Jack-o-lantern’ing

There was no way we could miss out on an opportunity to do something fun with pumpkins, arguably the best part of the harvest for all of us kids, and all of us big kids. After an intense afternoon of cutting, scooping, carving, and refining, thanks to the efforts of Bryce, Emily, Erik, Tina and Edwin we came up with an impressive line-up of jack-o-lanterns. Annie Robbins, normally known for her research on Chinese traditional shadow puppetry, was put in the position of head judge. With a small crowd, judging by applause, we’d like to congratulate Bryce and Tina who tied for 1st place and Edwin who was awarded 3rd place for his pumpkins!
