Mid-Autumn Festival with the Linden Centre

The Mid-Autumn Festival in China is an important time both for hard work and celebration. On the 15th day of the 8th month in the lunar calendar, in preparation for the harvest, families focus on quality time together as they share good food and enjoy the full moon.

This year, our leader in the kitchen, Chef Yang invited guests from the Centre, as well as staff whose homes are far away to his courtyard home for food and mooncakes with his family. Enjoying his home grown, no-harm vegetables and good company, we had a full party of about 60 people for a courtyard banquet to celebrate the start of the harvest.
